During this time of regrouping, I thought I would post some of my past artworks. Sometimes I find it difficult to focus on only one medium, it takes discipline, so here is something I did in 2006. Comments are encouraged and welcomed at all times! 🙂
Thank you, Jolie…not as great as your triptych paintings, but I wanted to post anyway. 🙂
Very lovely…you thinking of getting back into some silk?
I wished I had the time, Janah…I enjoyed working with it, would love to try larger pieces, but just trying to prep the studio for painting in the new year. Happen to find these while putting things away. 🙂
Just my kind of art, beautiful colours!!
Thank you, Lynda 🙂
We have some folks here on the Big Island that do exquisite silk painting and batik. Did I tell you that I spent a month is Jogyakarta, Indonesian studying with one of the masters, Bambang Oetoro? It was an incredible experience.
No, Michael…I don’t ever recall you telling me about studying with one of the masters. I bet it was a fantastic learning experience, do you paint? Or were you there to take photographs?
Absolutely gorgeous!!! I love the colors and the movement this piece has.
Thank you very much, Nichole! 🙂 Thank you for noticing the “movement” in the piece. It’s an important part of it. 🙂
I love it Carol! You are amazing!
Awww…thank you, Debbie! No, you’re amazing! 🙂 Congrats on having your artwork shown in Nashville Arts Magazine! So proud of you!
